Talented Year 9 students from Loreto have created an app that they are hoping to take to the marketplace. The project was supported by Digital Advantage who guided the students through the commercial process including customer research, product development and product launch. The group identified a gap in the market for promoting new bands after being inspired by Manchester’s reputation for creating successful bands. The interactive free app has key features to engage potential fans and directs users to similar sounding bands. The app will be promoted locally initially, with an option to expand in the future. Thank you to Digital Advantage and to Mr Chillingworth for facilitating the enterprise which has enabled the students to develop their commercial awareness whilst building on their interpersonal team networking skills.
