BTEC Music Production Performances

On 13th and 18th June, our Year 9 and 10 BTEC groups organised a celebration of their musical production achievements, by organising a gig from start to finish as part of their BTEC assessment. They each composed a track which they set to images, and invited guests to come and hear their work. They also invited live musician Miriam Mihalffy on violin to perform as a guest artist and she was superb! The BTEC students organised the venue, refreshments, publicity and set-up of sound and light and did a brilliant job for their first ever live assessment. Well done to all and thank you to Mr Searle for overseeing such a successful venture.

We are part of the ‘Bee in the city’ art trail. The St.Johns ‘Bee-attitude’ bee is number 93 of the little bees and is in the Lowry theatre in Salford Quays. #beeinthecitymcr https://t.co/IRRm6Eh4T0
