Glory to God!

Loreto students joined pupils from five of their partner primary schools at the annual Advent Carol Service on Wednesday 6th December. The theme this year was ‘Welcome the Stranger’ and Loreto students took part in readings and prayers enabling the congregation to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. The choirs of Holy Name, Our Lady’s, St John’s, St Kentigern’s and The Divine Mercy as well as the Loreto Choir and Gospel Choir all sang beautifully, reflecting on that theme with some inspiring, meaningful and joyful song choices. The Loreto band accompanied the classic Christmas carols, Silent Night and O Come All Ye Faithful, as well as leading all the choirs together in a joyful rendition of the upbeat Christmas song ‘Peace Child’ which put everyone in the Christmas spirit! Well done to all who performed.

We are part of the ‘Bee in the city’ art trail. The St.Johns ‘Bee-attitude’ bee is number 93 of the little bees and is in the Lowry theatre in Salford Quays. #beeinthecitymcr https://t.co/IRRm6Eh4T0
