Little Shop of Horrors, Loreto High School’s musical production was a phenomenal success! Over 50 of our talented students put on this fantastic show on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th March, performing for over 300 children from our feeder primary schools on Wednesday morning as well as two full houses in the evening. The students performed with amazing professionalism, singing, dancing and acting their way to success. Many of the audience commented that the show was outstanding and was just as good as a night out at a professional theatre company! The band was made up of current and former students and astounded the audience with their ability to perform such a difficult musical score. Many students were also involved in designing the programme and creating props and scenery whilst the backstage crew and costume/make-up team played a invaluable part in making the production such a success. Congratulations to every single student involved in the show. We will never forget it.
Projects like this prove the necessity of theatre and how it can change young people’s lives forever
It really was joyful for both the students and the audience and you’ve fully succeeded in developing some fantastic talent. Every student performed perfectly. Thanks so much for all your hard work. It was a triumph!
