RiseVoiceVote Project

As part of the anniversary celebrations for the 100 years of women’s suffrage, Loreto was chosen to take part in the RiseVoiceVote campaign. Members of the Student Council visited the Pankhurst Centre and then took part in a workshop about protest and action. We now have 3 groups working on a project that will have an impact on Manchester. They will be showcasing their campaign in November at the People’s History Museum.

We are part of the ‘Bee in the city’ art trail. The St.Johns ‘Bee-attitude’ bee is number 93 of the little bees and is in the Lowry theatre in Salford Quays. #beeinthecitymcr https://t.co/IRRm6Eh4T0
