Teacher of Music Technology with additional duties as Cover Supervisor and Technical Assistant in Music

Full Time One Year Contract

This is an exciting opportunity for a Music Technology teacher to join our ambitious and vibrant school. Our Music department has played a leading role in the school’s development and is at the forefront of Teaching and Learning innovations as well as extra-curricular provision.

Our current Music Technology teacher is taking a one year Sabbatical and we are looking for an experienced Music Technology expert to lead and deliver the V. Cert Music Technology courses at Key Stage 4, assist in the administration of the music department such as timetabling peripatetic music lessons and give technical support at music and drama events. There are many exciting opportunities to develop our musical ensembles such as Samba Band, DJ club and Music Studio sessions for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will also support as a cover supervisor across other areas of the school.

It is essential that the successful candidate is a committed and practising Catholic with a good understanding of the liturgical life of the Church and experience of working with young people or young adults.
