A group of students and staff from Loreto Chorlton, joined  by students from Loreto College walked the distance from Loreto Chorlton, to the college (in the VERY hot sun!) a distance of 2.4 miles per person. The nineteen  students and four staff walked a collective distance of 55.2 miles towards the Cafod Global totalizer.  The group received support from passing cars and buses and even took part in an informal interview with a labour councillor.
‘I liked the walk; it was good and made us think about things in a different way and understand a little the stories of others and that we might be able to help.’ said Libby (18) from Loreto College.
‘I feel like I have been part of something bigger in letting people know of the horrible things that’s migrants go through…you only hear about the negative things most times,’ reported Zeerik Y9 from Loreto High.
